Owner Jim Killin was introduced to construction at a young age. His father worked with plaster in the 1950's and 60's and taught his young son the trade. Jim was able to work his way through Butler University using these talents and learned more along the way. In the late 70's and early 80's Jim became one of the top real-estate agent in the Pacific Northwest selling houses all over the area. He realized during these home sales, finding a reliable contractor to do work on these houses was difficult. Jim then decided since he knew the trade already, that he would start a General Contracting Company that could appeal to real-estate agents needing good, reliable help.
Business boomed and J.C. Killin grew and he began taking on bigger and bigger jobs.

In the mid 2000's, Jim's son Jon came on board full time and has been working to make J.C. Killin General Contractor even more quick and efficient. With their organization and their attention to detail, the company is evolving everyday to keep up with the industry's ever changing codes and products. Together, Jim and Jon, have been able to hire an exceptional crew who understand not just construction but consideration of the clients as well. J.C. Killin General Contractor have and will continue to put the client's happiness ahead of everything else.
