Project: Perimeter Drainage and Retaining Wall

Location: Mukilteo, WA

Description: For this four-plex in Mukilteo, we began by digging down 12 feet to reach the footing along the front and sides of the house to relieve the hydrostatic pressure which causes water to enter the house. We installed footing drains along the perimeter of the house and directed the water away from the property. We then formed and poured a 5' retaining wall, built a safety rail, and poured new sidewalks to the property. We removed all the dirt that was left over and brought in topsoil to prep for the landscapers.
